Blogshares is like your real life stock exchange, but blogs get listed instead of companies; like stock exchanges, blog shares get issued and traded.
The idea is to build up wealth like you would in real life but you invest fictional dollars (or B$) on shares in blogs. There are other means of making and losing money on blogshares but I think this will suffice as a 101.
You can check my blog's listing here. The shares aren't valued as highly as Mr Brown's because I don't have as many incoming links.
All you need to get started is to create an account, add your blog, claim your blog, and start trading. You can find all this information on the help page.
