Temperature and humidity settings
For human comfort the recommended temperature setting is between 22.5°C (72.5F) and 25.5°C (77.9F) while the relative humidity should not exceed 70%.
And the fashion phenomenon in Singapore is to parade one's windbreaker.

A Hongkonger told me, half-in-jest, that the reason why they turn their aircon up is so that people can wear nice and expensive winter-clothes indoors (which otherwise won't get to be used)... :)
